Cheesy au Gratin Potatoes


  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g grated gravy
  • 1 teaspoon of curry
  • 200 g chicken fillet cut into cubes
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 5 medium-sized potatoes
  • white pepper
  • 2 smoky cubes
  • 150 g chopped tomato
  • 2 cups of margarine or butter


Boil the potatoes in salted water 20 until they are tender.

Peel them and cut them into thin slices.

Sauté the chicken with 1cup of margarine. Sprinkle with curry and a little salt.

Heat the rest of the margarine and dissolve inside the cubes of herbs, add pepper and nutmeg. Then add the eggs stirring until the mixture become velvet.

Apply a few tablespoons of the cream mixture to an ovenproof glass baking pan and then apply the potatoes.

Spread over the chicken and sprinkle with the cheese.

Pour with the rest of the cream and top up the tomato. Bake in a preheated oven at 200o C until the surface become golden.
